About The Role
As a college nurse for adults, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the healthcare needs of our students. Your responsibilities will include managing a caseload of students, ensuring that their health and well-being are prioritised through comprehensive care plans and careful monitoring. You will work closely with a large trans-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.
In addition to providing direct care around nursing tasks, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, and execution of individualised healthcare plans that cater to the unique needs of each student. Effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals, educators (teaching), and social care staff are essential to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
Your role is also pivotal in maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records, and you could be the primary point of contact for parents, guardians, and external stakeholders regarding the health and medical needs of our students.
