Henderson & Harvard bungalows support adults with a variety of learning and physical disabilities to live their best lives at this beautiful residential home in Essex! The individuals we support at Henderson & Harvard love using their own purpose-built sensory room! They love going out for the day and popping to the pub for lunch. They’re a very sociable bunch and love being with friends. They’re partial to a bit of cooking and baking, especially unicorn cakes! They frequently spend time in the garden and love playing with bubbles. They’ve also been known to attend the local 80’s and 90’s disco nights!

About The Role
As Deputy Manager of an adult residential home, you will be supporting the Registered Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care in line with CQC standards. Leading and supervising staff, manage rotas, and contributing to recruitment, training, and performance development. You will be partaking in a mixture of direct support alongside some admin hours too. The role includes maintaining accurate records, overseeing care planning, safeguarding residents, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment. Liaising effectively with residents, families, professionals, and external agencies to promote well-being, dignity, and independence, while also assisting with audits, inspections, and compliance requirements. A full Manual Driving License is a necessity for this post as well.
