About The Company

The Greenways family is recruiting! Greenways is a 16-bed residential care home in Pinner in the London Borough of Harrow, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, mental health issues and complex care needs to live their best life! The individuals we support at Greenways love socialising with peers, dancing, cooking, and getting messy with arts and crafts. They take part yearly in an Easter egg hunt orchestrated by one of our wonderful staff members! Our work is extremely rewarding and we love what we do! We all work together to ensure the individuals we support live their absolute best lives.

About The Role

As a Senior, you’ll join us with previous experience in a support role, and be able to hit the ground running. Thanks to your support with day-to-day activities, care plans and reviews, you’ll help us make a difference to the lives of the individuals we support. Our Senior Support Workers are there to ensure the health, welfare, education and development of the people we support is promoted at each step of their journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure person-centred, outcome-focused support plans are in place, promoting wellbeing, independence, choice, diversity, and positive risk management in line with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support individuals to maintain positive relationships, healthy lifestyles, meaningful activities, and—where appropriate—manage medication, finances, and health appointments.
  • Ensure robust activity plans that encourage development, new experiences, and autonomy.
  • Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and Mental Capacity Act principles, ensuring individuals are kept safe and concerns are reported appropriately.
  • Work with Registered and Deputy Managers to maintain safe, accessible, and person-centred environments.
  • Lead, support, and develop a high-quality staff team through effective recruitment, induction, supervision, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure staff deployment meets commissioned hours and individual needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement, quality assurance, and innovation in care delivery in line with organisational values and policies.
  • Manage incidents and accidents in accordance with organisational and regulatory procedures.
