About The Company

Are you an experienced, motivated, and dynamic care professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our busy residential care home supporting adults aged 21–80 with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and autism.

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service, leading and developing the team while maintaining high standards of care.

  • Support operational management of a busy residential service
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff
  • Conduct supervisions and appraisals
  • Support HR processes and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, MCA, and DoLS
  • Promote person-centred care
  • Maintain regulatory standards

Essential Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Residential care experience
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding, MCA, DoLS, medication administration
  • Digital recording
  • HR and staff management experience
  • Experience with supervisions and appraisals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Energetic and proactive attitude
