Blue Cedars is a specialist day service supporting adults with a wide range of learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities and mild mental health needs across Birmingham.

As our Domestic Assistant, you'll play an important role in ensuring our day service is clean, hygienic and comfortable for everyone who visits.
Your work will directly contribute to the health, wellbeing and happiness of the individuals we support.
Your responsibilities will include: Cleaning communal areas, activity rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and office.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention.
Replenishing cleaning supplies and reporting any maintenance issues.
Ensuring all cleaning is carried out safely and in line with health and safety procedures.
Helping create a welcoming environment for the people we support, their families and visitors.

About The Role Key Responsibilities
- To contribute to the effective operation of domestic services.
- To clean and upkeep items of furniture, equipment and school environment
- To maintain and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- To follow all health and safety guidelines
- To be an effective member of the domestic team
- Any other duties as may reasonably be delegated by the Premises Co-ordinator
- To undertake other duties as may be reasonably determined by the Principal
