Ingfield Manor School is a non-maintained special school and part of Salutem Care and Education, supporting adults and children in residential and educational environments. Based in idyllic grounds, Ingfield Manor School offers extensive specialist facilities to provide an exceptional learning environment, helping children and young people fulfil their potential. Facilities include woodland and outdoor classroom space, high specification sensory room, and swimming pool.

Our Woodview provision is for secondary aged students with special educational needs including speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN) and autistic spectrum conditions (ASC). We also have Beaumont Sussex on our campus, a Post-19 college for special educational needs and students with physical disabilities which is part of Beaumont College offering pathways for students as they prepare for adulthood.

About The Role
- Hours: 37.50 hours/week. Term time only (39 weeks)
We are seeking a compassionate and organised Registered Paediatric Nurse to join our dedicated school nursing team, supporting students with a range of complex health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Nurse in coordinating the school’s nursing team and maintaining high standards of care.
- Assess students’ health needs, interpret clinical information, and take appropriate action.
- Deliver and promote evidence-based care in line with national and local guidelines.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and care plans (e.g. asthma, respiratory, feeding plans).
- Administer and manage medicines safely in line with policy.
- Respond to medical emergencies and support unwell students.
- Liaise effectively with parents, staff, and external health and social care professionals.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on students’ individual care needs.
- Supervise and support team members to ensure high-quality practice.
- Assist with clinics, specialist visits, and student assessments for new placements.
- Participate in the nurse on-call rota and deputise for the Senior Nurse when required.
