About The Role

  • 3 - 6 month fixed term project length
  • £20.00 per hour
  • 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Installation & Project Support
    • Install and configure IT, networking equipment and other digital devices.
    • Travel to care and education sites to complete equipment installations and upgrades.
    • Support implementation projects within agreed timescales.
    • Test equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues during installation.
    • Ensure all equipment is set up in line with organisational IT and security standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of installations, asset allocation and project progress.
    • Escalate technical issues to senior IT colleagues where appropriate.
    • Support connectivity and access issues where required.
    • Ensure excellent customer service when interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with data protection, confidentiality and cybersecurity requirements.
    • Follow health and safety guidance when working across multiple operational sites.
    • Handle IT equipment safely and securely during transportation and installation.
  • Team Working
    • Work collaboratively with operational managers, service teams and the wider IT department.
    • Provide regular updates on project progress and site completion status.
    • Support continuous improvement and contribute ideas to improve efficiency during rollout.
