About The Role

We’re looking for a

Clinical Governance Lead Nurse to take the lead on high-impact priorities across our UK-wide services with a sharp focus on Clinical Governance

Delegated healthcare delivered by non-registered staff—safe, lawful, person-centred and consistently governed

Clinical supervision compliance for operational nurses—clear standards, strong evidence, effective escalation

  • What you’ll do
  • Be Salutem’s subject matter lead for delegated healthcare: oversight of what’s delegated, where, to whom and how it’s governed.
  • Strengthen prescriber-led documentation and delegation arrangements (e. g., protocols, monitoring requirements, review dates, escalation thresholds, consent).
  • Maintain and enhance delegated healthcaretraining and competency frameworks, including refreshers and trigger-based reassessment.
  • Define and embedclinical supervision standardsfor operational nurses, monitor compliance and quality, and accelerate risk appropriately.
  • Deliver an audit programme covering documentation, competency, practice adherence and supervision.
  • Drive learning from incidents/near misses/complaints/safeguarding and support inspection readiness (CQC/CIW/Ofsted/Estyn).
  • Line manage two QA Registered Nursesand standardise ways of working, reporting and escalation.
  • Lead on Group Clinical Governance MDT - chairing and coordinating a multi-disciplinary forum that brings together Quality, Operations, Safeguarding, Learning & Development, PBS and other clinical specialists
  • Lead on the development of clinical Policy and Procedures This includes keeping content aligned to national guidance and regulatory expectations.

  • Experience in clinical governance, quality assurance, audit and risk
  • Confident influencing across services and senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable working at pace, solving problems, and creating practical, inspection-ready systems
  • Happy to travel UK-wide (including overnight stays)
