About The Role
Ingfield Manor School is a non‑maintained special school providing specialist education and support for young people aged 3–19 with neurological and sensory needs. The role is based on the school campus located within a 10‑minute drive of Horsham.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, legal, and effective medicines management in line with Salutem and Ingfield policies.
- Support and respond to medical emergencies, ensuring plans are in place, followed, and reviewed.
- Coordinate clinics and specialist visits with staff and parents.
- Participate in the weekday nurse on‑call rota to ensure 24‑hour cover.
- Contribute to assessments for prospective students to ensure medical needs can be met.
- Deputise for the Senior Nurse when required and work independently.
- Adhere to NMC Code of Conduct and professional standards.
- Work collaboratively across teams to support organisational goals and deliver high‑quality care.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and promote service excellence.

- Role may include other duties appropriate to the position.
- Commitment to safeguarding children and young people is essential – enhanced DBS required.
- All roles are subject to a 6‑month probation period.
