About The Company

Empowering Futures for Special School Leavers and Beyond. At Beaumont College, we’re proud to support special school leavers—particularly those with complex autism, learning difficulties, and social, emotional, or communication challenges—as they transition into adulthood. Our tailored pathways focus on each student’s unique needs, enabling them to build fulfilling, independent lives. Our students may communicate in different ways—some with strong language skills, others through alternative methods. Many have developed lifelong strategies to be heard, but these may not always serve them well in adulthood. That’s where you come in.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll help young people develop positive, effective ways to express themselves. You’ll support them to feel heard, understood, and empowered, reducing the need for unhelpful behaviours and building a future grounded in confidence, dignity, and respect. We’re looking for compassionate and committed Support Workers to join us on this rewarding journey. You'll be part of a small, dedicated team around each student, enabling them to grow, thrive, and enjoy all that life has to offer. Along the way, there will be fun, challenges, and plenty of unforgettable moments. Our students’ achievements speak volumes—and they’re only possible because of the incredible staff who support them. Are you ready to be part of something life‑changing?

About The Role

You will contribute to creating a nurturing environment where students can lead fulfilling lives, free from fear, and in line with their needs and aspirations. You will be supporting their personal growth by assisting them in maintaining personal hygiene, maximizing their comfort, and fostering their abilities as well as minimising risks. You will promote and empower students to actively participate in college activities by providing support within college sessions and in the community at large. Effective communication serves as the cornerstone of our approach. By truly understanding the needs of our students, team members, and the organisation, you will ensure seamless implementation of an agreed care plan.
