Salutem Healthcare is seeking an experienced, values-led Regional Director to lead and grow a portfolio of services across the Midlands. This is a senior, high-impact leadership role for someone who is passionate about quality, people and performance — and who wants to make a genuine difference to the lives of adults and young people we support. About The Role
Reporting to the Divisional Director, you will have full accountability for the quality, financial performance, people leadership and strategic development of your region. You will lead a team of operational managers, work in close partnership with support functions, and act as a senior ambassador for Salutem with regulators, commissioners and external partners. This is a hands-on, visible leadership role requiring regular presence across services and strong engagement with teams on the ground.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensuring services achieve and sustain GOOD or OUTSTANDING CQC ratings
- Driving continuous service improvement and embedding a strong Well-Led culture
- Owning and delivering service improvement plans where required
- Maintaining full regulatory and governance compliance across the region
- Commercial & Financial Performance
- Delivering Regional EBITDAR, occupancy and KPI targets
- Reducing agency usage through effective workforce planning and retention
- Identifying growth, redevelopment and investment opportunities with clear ROI
- Building strong partnerships with Local Authorities, NHS and commissioners
- Leadership & People
- Leading, coaching and developing high-performing managers
- Building a strong leadership pipeline and succession plan
- Creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and shared best practice
- Championing staff engagement, retention and development
- Strategic Leadership
- Developing and delivering a clear regional strategy aligned to company objectives
- Representing Salutem professionally with external stakeholders

About You
You will be an accomplished senior leader with experience in multi-site health or social care, confident operating at both strategic and operational levels. You are values-driven, commercially astute and comfortable leading change in complex environments.
