About The Role
As a Registered Nurse with us, you'll be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering high quality nursing and general care across 24-hour services. You will promote independence, wellbeing, and dignity while ensuring safe, effective clinical practice in line with the NMC Code.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Working collaboratively across teams to support Salutem's strategic goals.
- Delivering outstanding customer service and adhering to quality frameworks.
- Following all organisational policies and procedures.
- Maintaining professional development aligned with NMC standards.
- Ensuring safe handling, administration, and storage of medications.
- Providing evidence based clinical care, including procedures such as catheterisation, PEG/tracheostomy management, and NG tube care.
- Upholding safeguarding responsibilities for children and adults.
- Maintaining accurate clinical and organisational records in line with NMC and data protection regulations.
- Supporting the Service Manager with supervision, mentoring, and development of support staff.
- Promoting safe environments through health & safety, infection control, and risk management.
- Building effective relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Delivering person-centred care planning, health promotion, and effective transition management.
- Participating in clinical supervision, audits, training, and continuous service improvement.
- Supporting recruitment, induction, and staff meetings.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Registered Nurse qualification with active NMC registration.
- Knowledge of the NMC Code and legislation relating to disability, mental health, or physical health needs.
- Experience supporting vulnerable adults in residential, day service, youth work, or similar environments.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to reflect on practice and work effectively within a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins.
- A full driving licence.
Desirable:
- Personal or professional experience relating to challenges faced by vulnerable adults.
