Ingfield Manor School is seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and skilled Conductor to join our outstanding team. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and young people with neurological motor impairments and associated needs.
Set in beautiful, idyllic grounds near Horsham, Ingfield Manor School provides a highly specialist learning environment. We support students aged 3–19 using a holistic Conductive Education approach, helping every learner fulfil their potential. Ofsted (October 2023) recognised that we continue to offer a GOOD quality of education, highlighting our strong safeguarding culture, caring staff, positive relationships, and innovative, tailored curriculum.
As a Conductor, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering Conductive Education practice across a department as part of a transdisciplinary team. You will:
- Lead and implement Conductive Education programmes
- Promote functional independence and support pupils' holistic development
- Plan and deliver group and individual learning sessions
- Monitor and assess pupil progress
- Create dynamic, engaging learning environments
- Collaborate with a wide range of professionals and families
- Provide high standards of physical and emotional care, including intimate care
- Contribute to annual reviews, planning, and whole‐school development
