Deputy Manager (Bedford)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual to join us as a Deputy Manager at our Residential Children’s home, this is an exciting time to join the team!

We are seeking a potential candidate with a strong emphasis on promoting Person-Centred approaches and values in all aspects of the service we provide.

The ideal candidate will have experience of motivating and enabling a team of staff to achieve good outcomes in partnership with the people we support, and with an emphasis on role modelling best practice in a care environment.

You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent administrative skills and be able to organise and priorities your work load whilst being financially astute.

You will need to be experienced in care management and will possess excellent knowledge of Care Act 2014, Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulation 2014, Ofsted Regulations (Registration) 2009 and Valuing People Now. Above all, you should be as approachable, as reliable and as dedicated as we are, and you’ll be poised to hit the ground ‘sprinting’.

Professional Qualifications:

You will join us with a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People, or equivalent qualification, and have been in a management role for a minimum of a year.
