We are looking for a hands-on Installation Engineer to join our growing team in our Nottingham office (2bm), working across a range of client data centre projects. This is a varied role where no two projects are the same - you’ll be part of a team delivering high-quality installations, upgrades, and modifications across mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measuring, planning, and delivering full installs of aisle containment systems
  • Installing a variety of cold and hot aisle containment solutions from different manufacturers
  • Installing and remediating IT cabinets and associated components (including power supplies, sensors, cyber locks, rack-mounted UPS systems, switches, and underfloor water detection systems)
  • Carrying out full data hall strip-outs
  • Installing cable trays and trunking
  • Acting as the main on-site fabricator, including bespoke alterations and modifications
  • Installing condensers
  • Installing rear door heat exchangers and associated frameworks
  • Supporting wider project work, including: Electrical cabinet installations, Cutting cable throughways, Pipe lagging

  • A practical, hands-on individual with a strong work ethic
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach with clients
  • Previous installation or mechanical/electrical experience is desirable but not essential
Qualifications & Training
  • No formal qualifications required
  • A CSCS card is advantageous, but we can support you in obtaining one
  • Full on-the-job training will be provided
