Our client, a Specialty MGA based in London (City), offer an array of products such as Financial Lines, Casualty, PI, Marine Cargo and Property to a healthy broker portfolio.
They are looking to recruit a Specialty Underwriter who will report to their Head of Specialty division (D&O, PI, Financial Lines and Ancillary products) and take responsibility for underwriting within their plan for both profitability and growth.
You will assist the Head of Specialty in the management of the portfolio, ensuring alignment with the company’s risk appetite and performance objectives as well as monitor and assess risk selection, loss trends, pricing methods, and underwriting effectiveness.
You will be experienced in building and maintaining strong, strategic relationships with key brokers and act as key contact for internal and external stakeholders.
