Commercial Underwriter in Slough

Our client, a London based MGA, are looking to recruit a Trading Underwriter to manage a book of Property and Casualty business emanating from a portfolio of brokers in London and the Southeast, focusing on service and trading.

This is a hybrid working position, working between the client\’s City based office and home.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the underwriting of new business quotations across their Property and Liability products and dealing with queries within the SLA\’s of the business. You will keep regular communication with the Business Development Managers to maintain broker relationships and act as a referral point for the Underwriting Assistants.

Candidates must have experience in a commercial underwriting capacity, ideally experienced in Property and Liability along with experience in conducting onsite broker visits.
