Senior Claims Specialist

Our client is a leading Lloyd\’s insurance brokerage that offers a wide range of products inclusive of Marine Hull & Machinery and Protection & Indemnity (P&I). With a strong presence in both the EMEA and APAC regions, they are dedicated in providing comprehensive risk management solutions and exceptional service to our clients in the marine industry.

They are looking to recruit a Senior Claims Broker to take on responsibilities as below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the claims process for Marine Hull & Machinery and P&I claims, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough investigations and assessments of claims to determine validity and value.
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients on claims-related matters.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on claims activities and outcomes to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven track record of experience in claims handling, preferably with a focus on Marine H&M and P&I sectors.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for effective claims assessment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of building relationships.
• Knowledge of relevant maritime laws and regulations, alongside proficiency in claims management software.
