Pay £22.04 per hour, increasing with length of service and professional development.

About the role:

We are looking for newly qualified, or soon to be qualified, Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team at Moorland. This is an exciting opportunity for nurses entering the profession who are passionate about delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care in a supportive and well‑staffed clinical environment. You will play an essential role in ensuring safe, effective and evidence‑based practice across the Service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high‑standard nursing care to patients in line with NMC guidelines.
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans.
  • Safely administer medications and treatments.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
  • Offer emotional support and clear communication to patients and families.
  • Uphold infection‑control and safeguarding standards.

About You:

  • Newly qualified/soon to be qualified Registered Nurse (RNMH) with an active NMC PIN.
  • Experience in mental health nursing as part of your placement/qualification.
  • Strong assessment, organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining excellent patient care.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
