Following our move to become an Employee-Owned Trust we have restructured our leadership team while seeing a continued increase in demand for our service. As a result, we are seeking to appoint a Registered Building Inspector (RBI) to our senior management team. We are looking for an experienced Registered Building Inspector for this unique opportunity to take on a dual leadership and operational role, combining strategic involvement at senior level with team management and hands-on delivery for a portfolio of clients.
As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will play an important role in shaping and delivering our Building Control, Fire Safety, and allied consultancy services, while leading and managing a team of skilled professionals. Importantly, we are committed to developing leaders within our business and aim to appoint future Company Directors from our Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the leadership and strategic direction of the business as part of the Senior Management Team
- Manage, support, and develop a team of Registered Building Inspectors based at our Hinckley (Leicestershire) office
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality Building Control and consultancy services
- Oversee operational performance, workload allocation, and team development
- Act as the Registered Building Inspector for your own portfolio of clients and projects
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Registered Building Inspector at Class 3G/H
- Strong experience in Building Control
- Proven team management or leadership experience
- Commercially aware with a client-focused approach
- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Ability to balance strategic input with hands-on technical delivery
- A senior leadership role with genuine influence over business growth and direction
