Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly and maintenance of our products, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Support the company in the in the assembly of mechanical / electronic products and other deliverables for its customers.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot any mechanical issues that arise during the production process, escalating when necessary.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and quality control procedures to ensure product integrity.
- Undertake other duties as required to ensure smooth running of the production process
Skills
- A can-do attitude with the willingness to go the extra mile for the customer
- Excellent IT and systems skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work with limited direct supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic outlook
- 2+ years experience in a mechanical / electronics production environment within a fast moving, customer focused organization (preferred)
- Experience with IPC-A-610 (preferred)
