Nestled on Quay Street in the picturesque harbour town of Yarmouth, Salty's has long been the Isle of Wight's most cherished waterfront dining destination.

Now under the stewardship of Quay Hospitality Group, we're bringing Salty's back to its heyday — a brilliant, buzzing atmosphere paired with great seafood done really well.

We are looking for reliable, hard‑working Kitchen Porters to join our kitchen team in Yarmouth.

Acting as the essential engine room of our busy kitchen. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, washing and sanitising kitchen equipment, tableware, and utensils, and ensuring all workstations are safely organised. You will work closely with a vibrant kitchen team to help keep service running smoothly, and there will be plenty of opportunities to assist the chefs with basic food prep and stock management.

Candidates should have a strong work ethic, a proactive nature, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Reliability and punctuality are crucial for this role, as is taking pride in maintaining a safe, hygienic workspace. No previous kitchen experience is required, as full training will be provided for the right person.
