What does this role look like?
The Platform Support Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and seamless interactions with our valued clients. The key areas of the role are as follows:
- Effectively carry out processing requests from our customers. This will be primarily from both our internal investment planners and our Saltus Partnership external advisers:
- Setting up new plans
- Setting up new money instructions
- Requesting transfers and tracking progress
- Processing withdrawals
- Other niche processes (e. g. transfers out, deceased etc.)
- All other GIA/ISA related instructions and queries
- Effectively managing email service, in a customer focussed manner
- Answering both internal and external telephone calls
- Support onboarding of new Saltus Partnership firms, providing guidance on systems and processes.
Point of contact for external SP firms and recognised person to whom issues are escalated to for resolution.
- Active participator in meetings, escalating any issues as appropriate
- Train other members of the team
- To be an advocate for the Saltus Culture
- Helping other teams when needed
As a Platform Services Associate, you are responsible for
- Put yourself in the customers shoes, suggest and drive forward ways where we can improve
- Build excellent relationships with our customers – internal and external
- Complete work to a high level of accuracy
- Effectively self-manage your work, with minimal oversight
- Take responsibility for the data in our systems to ensure it is accurate and up to date
- Actively seek ways to improve quality and efficiency in our working practices and processes
- Embed our error/root cause analysis ethos into your daily routine
- Own cradle to grave small to medium size initiatives
- Support larger projects, including testing
- Documenting and enhancing procedures, ensuring the are regularly reviewed
- To be a great team player
- To take full ownership of your own development and progression
What sort of person are you looking for?
- 5+ years in a Financial Services environment
- ISA/GIA expert, firm understanding of product and regulations
- An excellent communicator who is also down to earth and can work well in a team
- Super organised and resilient
- Curiosity for solving process problems
- A ‘growth mindset’, i. e. an appetite for testing yourself and using past mistakes as a springboard to keep improving
- A technology native who has applied experience with Microsoft Excel, but who is comfortable applying that knowledge to other systems.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to multiple deadlines, often autonomously
- The ability to form successful professional relationships both internally and externally
Where will I be working?
This role is based from our Whiteley office and we offer hybrid working, with at least three days a week in the office.
We’re incredibly flexible about when and how you work: we don’t want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they’re looking for.
