Paraplanner role at Saltus – Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
Base Pay: Up to £45,000 | Full time | Hybrid working (3 days in office)
Responsibilities:
- Analyse client information and existing investments/policies
- Perform tax calculations
- Construct appropriate solutions for clients and make recommendations alongside advisers
- Write suitability reports for cases of varying complexity
- Run cashflow models for clients
- Act as point of contact for technical queries for CS and advisers
- Communicate with clients about research and report timelines
- Attend client meetings where required
- Help train other team members
- Potentially contribute to project work improving systems and processes
- Undertake peer reviews within the paraplanning team
Essential Attributes:
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of all financial products
- Hold the CII Level 4 diploma in regulated financial planning, and ideally working towards Chartered status
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a paraplanning role
- Solid IT skills; experience with Curo, FE Analytics and Voyant is advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail
- Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Organised and able to manage a busy workload
Location & Working Hours:
Work from our Newcastle office with a hybrid model: 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The role is 35 hours per week between 9:00 – 17:00.
Benefits:
Salary £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience plus 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, income protection, pension and access to a flexible benefits platform.
