We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Data Migration Associate to join our Data Team on a fixed-term contract to support a major data migration programme within our Wealth Management business. This role will focus on improving data quality, cleansing data, and working closely with business users to ensure data is accurate, complete, and ready for migration into new systems.
You will act as a key link between the business and the technical data team, helping to identify data issues, coordinate cleansing activities, and ensure high-quality data is delivered into the migration process.
What will I be doing?
- Support the data migration project by improving the quality of legacy data prior to migration.
- Work closely with business teams to identify data issues, inconsistencies, and gaps.
- Coordinate and support data cleansing activities, including correction, enrichment, and standardisation of data.
- Perform data checks and validations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Track data quality issues and remediation actions through logs or trackers.
- Support reconciliation and validation of data between source and target systems.
- Document data issues, cleansing rules, and resolution approaches.
- Provide regular updates on data quality progress, risks, and blockers.
- Assist with testing and validation phases by supporting business users and the data team.
Skills and experience:
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical and accurate working style.
- Experience working with data in a business or operations environment.
- Understanding of data quality principles and data cleansing activities.
- Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, databases, or data tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar).
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a project environment.
- Experience in financial services or wealth management.
- Previous involvement in data migration or system change projects.
- Familiarity with data validation, reconciliation, or testing processes.
- Experience working with CRM, portfolio, or financial systems.

Where will I be working?
We are looking for someone to be based out of our Whiteley and offer hybrid working, which includes 2 days in the office, with the remainder at home. We’re incredibly flexible about when and how you work: we don’t want anyone to be prevented from coming to work for Saltus as a result of the working pattern that they’re looking for. What benefits do I get when working for Saltus?
The salary is between £35-45,000pa depending on experience, alongside 25 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), life assurance, income protection and a pension, alongside access to our flexible benefits platform. The role is 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8.30-5.30pm.
