Exciting opportunities have opened up at Saltire! As we expand into new venues, we’re hiring managers and team members across all sectors. We are now seeking experienced Event Managers / Bar managers to join us on a full-time, part-time, or freelance basis. As an Event / Bar Manager, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering exceptional events within the catering and hospitality sector. This role also offers the opportunity to work across a variety of prestigious venues throughout Scotland, ensuring that every event not only meets but exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, catering, and hospitality services
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and supplier/vendor relationships
  • Oversee seamless execution of events, ensuring client satisfaction at every stage
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, reflecting our people-focused values
  • Collaborate effectively with our well-established in-house team to deliver outstanding results

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event management, hospitality, or catering
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and time management skills
  • Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
