Business Development Manager at Saltire Facilities Management

Saltire are seeking skilled and motivated Electrician’s with a passion for renewable energy to join our team, undertaking installations across Scotland. This role focuses on installing cutting-edge solar panel (PV) and battery storage systems. If you have experience in solar installations and want to advance your career in the renewables sector, working on projects throughout the country, this is an excellent opportunity.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Proven experience installing Solar PV systems & battery storage.

A strong background as a fully qualified electrician.

Willingness to travel to sites across Scotland.

Commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Travel to client sites throughout Scotland to install, commission, and maintain solar PV and battery storage systems according to design specifications.

Perform all electrical work related to installations, ensuring compliance with BS7671:2018 Amendment 2 regulations.

Conduct testing, inspection, and certification of electrical installations.

Diagnose and effectively troubleshoot any electrical issues that arise.

Maintain accurate records of work performed.

Uphold stringent health and safety standards on every job.

Communicate professionally with clients and team members.

Requirements:

Must be a fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

Certified to BS7671:2018 Amendment 2 wiring regulations.

Demonstrable experience in Solar PV installation is essential. BPEC/LCL award in Solar/battery storage would be highly advantageous.

Hold a valid UK driving license and be willing to travel extensively throughout Scotland.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
