Saltire Facilities Management is looking for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This role will see you supporting the successful delivery of projects by managing costs, valuations, contracts, and financial reporting across a range of maintenance and facilities management contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, valuations, and forecasts.
- Monitor project costs, variations, and profitability.
- Manage subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
- Prepare and submit payment applications and supporting documentation.
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance.
- Produce weekly and monthly commercial reports.
- Support budgeting, financial planning, and cost control initiatives.
- Liaise with clients, operational teams, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
About You
- A bachelor’s in quantity surveying or previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
- Strong understanding of cost control, valuations, and contract administration.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial management systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience within facilities management, construction, social housing, or property maintenance is advantageous but not essential.
