The Role

As a Gas Engineer Apprentice, you will support qualified engineers with the servicing, maintenance and installation of gas heating systems across domestic properties. Working within our experienced teams, you’ll gain real‑world experience while developing the knowledge and technical skills needed to become a fully qualified gas engineer. Your apprenticeship will combine practical on‑the‑job training with college‑based learning, with at least 20% of your time spent in a training environment as part of your qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers with gas servicing and maintenance
  • Support installation of boilers and heating systems
  • Learn to diagnose and repair faults
  • Follow strict safety and compliance procedures
  • Develop strong customer service skills when working in occupied homes
  • Work collaboratively with engineers and other trades
