At Saltire Facilities Management, our Electrical team plays a vital role in keeping homes safe, compliant, and running smoothly. We’re currently looking for skilled Electricians to join our expanding electrical team on contracts across Central Scotland. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on role and takes pride in delivering high-quality work while providing excellent service to customers.

The Role

As an Electrician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out electrical works within domestic & commercial properties. Working across busy contracts, you’ll collaborate closely with multi-trades, supervisors, and our office-based support teams to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. You’ll be a key part of a team that values communication, reliability, and getting the job done right first time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out reactive electrical maintenance and repairs
  • Complete domestic EICRs (where qualified)
  • Installation of various Heating Systems
  • Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
  • Maintain accurate records using provided systems (PDA)

What We’re Looking For

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Full UK driving licence
  • SJIB graded Electrician card
  • Experience in domestic & commercial electrical work
  • Experience in metal containment ie. Conduit & trunking.
  • Knowledge of heating systems (desirable)
  • City & Guilds 2391 or SELECT equivalent (desirable)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
