Saltire Facilities Management is growing and evolving. As part of our continued development alongside Daikin UK and Daikin Europe, we’re looking for a Business Process Analyst who can help us better understand, connect and improve how our business operates. As we continue to grow, introduce new technologies, and strengthen our partnership with Daikin, it’s critical that our processes are aligned, efficient, and built for the future. This role sits at the centre of that journey - giving you the opportunity to directly shape how the business operates and evolves.
This is a unique opportunity to gain full visibility of the organisation, working across every department to map processes, identify improvements, and influence how we scale for the future. You won’t be tied to one team or department. Instead, you’ll work across the entire business, acting as the link between our people, our processes and our systems. If you enjoy solving problems, understanding systems, and making things work better, this role is for you.
Why This Role Matters
We have a number of standalone systems and processes across the business. As we continue to grow, we need someone who can bring these together, understand how each department works, and help create more joined‑up ways of working. We are looking for someone who wants to get hands‑on, spend time with different teams, understand how our systems work in practice, and see first‑hand where improvements can be made. You’ll become a key user of our systems and help create a network of key users across the business, ensuring every department is involved in future improvements.
Your First 6 Months
You’ll complete a structured, hands‑on development programme designed to give you a complete understanding of our business. You’ll gain experience across:
- Call Centre Administration
- Finance & Accounting
- HR
- IT
- Central Purchasing
- Operations and field teams
You’ll also have the opportunity to:
- Visit Daikin UK (London)
- Gain exposure to Daikin Europe (Belgium)
- Learn best practices from an international network
- Support wider projects linked to digital transformation and business improvement
By the end of this programme, you’ll be one of the few people in the business with a true end‑to‑end understanding of how everything connects. After the first 6 months, you will directly contribute to Saltire’s continuous improvement culture and our ambition to build streamlined, scalable processes that support growth and enhance customer experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Map, document and review business processes across every department
- Analyse how systems and teams currently work together and identify opportunities for improvement
- Spend time with colleagues across the business to understand processes in practice, not just on paper
- Work closely with field engineers and technicians to understand how systems and processes support their work
- Identify inefficiencies, duplication or unnecessary complexity and recommend practical improvements
- Simplify, standardise and streamline workflows across multiple departments
- Translate business requirements into clear process documentation, business cases and IT project charters
- Act as the bridge between operational teams, managers and IT
- Support system changes, integrations and digital transformation projects
- Help create and develop key users within each department
- Ensure processes are aligned across all areas of the business and support future growth
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and help build a culture where people are encouraged to suggest better ways of working
