Potential earnings of up to 48k with standby and overtime. Saltire Facilities Management are growing — and we’re looking for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our team covering the Birmingham and Coventry areas.

You’ll be working across social housing properties, keeping homes safe, warm and compliant. Our office team will handle the scheduling and support, so you can focus on what you do best — delivering quality workmanship and great customer service.
The Role
- Servicing and maintaining boilers, fires and heating systems within social housing properties
- Diagnosing faults and completing safe, efficient repairs
- Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and company H&S procedures
- Completing job reports accurately and on time via PDA
- Building positive, professional relationships with tenants and clients
- Attending Toolbox Talks and ongoing safety updates
- Maintaining high standards of van stock, uniform and presentation
- Carrying out weekly vehicle and equipment checks
- Participating in on-call cover where required
This is a mobile role across Birmingham and Coventry, with travel kept as local as possible wherever we can.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a domestic Gas Engineer
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- A professional, customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Unvented qualification (desirable but not essential)
