Salterns Group, incorporating Salterns Marina, Golden Arrow Marine, Salterns Brokerage, and Offshore Performance, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the implementation and ongoing success of our new HubSpot CRM across the business. This hands-on position will help connect marketing activity, sales performance and commercial outcomes by supporting the capture, governance, analysis and reporting of data from digital campaigns, website activity, sales teams, events and social channels. The role will help transform this data into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making across the organisation. The role is ideal for someone with previous HubSpot experience who is looking to further develop their skills across CRM, marketing operations, reporting and business systems within a growing group of predominantly marine businesses. The role will also support the integration of HubSpot with other key platforms, including Sage, WordPress and analytics tools, helping to improve data visibility and operational consistency across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- CRM & Systems (HubSpot)
- Support the implementation, configuration and ongoing development of HubSpot CRM across the Salterns Group
- Assist with the day-to-day management of HubSpot, including:
- Maintaining customer and lead records, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Supporting lifecycle stage management and contact segmentation
- Managing and updating sales pipelines, deal stages, and associated data
- Support the creation, testing and optimisation of automated workflows (e.g. lead nurturing, task automation, internal notifications)
- Assist with building and maintaining forms, landing pages and lead capture processes
- Google Ads and Paid Search
- SEO and website analytics (Google Search Console, GA4, tracking and attribution)
- Events, forms, and offline lead sources from Sales and Business Development teams
- Support the use and integration of key business systems across the Salterns Group to ensure data is connected and accessible across departments
- Assist with managing data flows between HubSpot, WordPress (websites/SEO), Sage (finance), Visual Planner and internal engineering/video reporting tools
- Support internal teams in maintaining high-quality, consistent data across systems. Working across departments to understand data usage and identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and system efficiency
- Assist with aligning data across platforms to provide a clearer view of customer activity, sales performance, and commercial outcomes
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of reports and dashboards within HubSpot and other platforms
- Support analysis of marketing, sales, and commercial data to identify trends and opportunities
- Help translate data into clear insights and recommendations for Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams
- Support the development of consistent reporting frameworks and performance tracking
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to support adoption and effective use of HubSpot CRM
- Help document and improve customer journeys, sales funnel processes and CRM best practices
- Provide system and data support to ensure smooth day-to-day marketing and sales operations
- Support the maintenance of group databases, including customer, product and website data
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes and overall business performance
Skills and Experience
- 1–2 years minimum HubSpot experience in a commercial environment
- Experience maintaining CRM data quality, segmentation and reporting
- Confidence working with workflows, forms, dashboards and pipeline data
- Familiarity and experience with GA4, Sage and WordPress
Qualifications
- A Levels or equivalent (Essential)
- Degree (Desirable)
- HubSpot Academy Certifications (Desirable)
- HubSpot Marketing Software Certification
- HubSpot Sales Hub Software Certification
