Salter Grange is seeking a proactive Senior Design Manager(s) to join a leading Main Contractor on exciting London projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate design teams from PCSA through delivery (RIBA stages 2–5)
  • Manage design schedules, information release, risk registers, and document workflows (Aconex/Fieldview)
  • Ensure design quality, compliance, and collaboration with Project Managers and subcontractors
  • Support pre-construction activities, including planning conditions, surveys, BREEAM, and design scopes
  • Mitigate design risks and maintain the golden thread of information

Requirements:

  • HNC/Degree in Design Management, Architecture, or similar
  • Experience in new build residential or student accommodation, or commercial fit-out projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Positive, proactive attitude and a passion for collaborative working
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
