Salter Grange is seeking a proactive Senior Design Manager(s) to join a leading Main Contractor on exciting London projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate design teams from PCSA through delivery (RIBA stages 2–5)
- Manage design schedules, information release, risk registers, and document workflows (Aconex/Fieldview)
- Ensure design quality, compliance, and collaboration with Project Managers and subcontractors
- Support pre-construction activities, including planning conditions, surveys, BREEAM, and design scopes
- Mitigate design risks and maintain the golden thread of information
Requirements:
- HNC/Degree in Design Management, Architecture, or similar
- Experience in new build residential or student accommodation, or commercial fit-out projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Positive, proactive attitude and a passion for collaborative working
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
