QA/QC Mechanical Inspector

Salter Grange is working with a leading Engineering Contractor who is currently recruiting a QA/QC Mechanical Inspector to join a specialist Engineering Contractor on a high-profile, major Data Centre Development with a Mechanical Package Value of over £70m in London.

The successful QA/QC Mechanical Inspector will be joining a new division on a Hyper-Scale Data Centre Project for a blue-chip client and be part of a highly regarded company and well known for its strong Preconstruction Engineering, Project Management capabilities and smooth Project Delivery.

Ideally, the successful QA/QC Mechanical Inspector will have experience in a similar role, Mechanical trade or degree qualified and a proven track record in the Data Centre industry.

QA/QC Mechanical Inspector Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections of the quality of installations.
• Owner of snagging the installation both on scheduled walkdowns and observations.
• Critique installations to ensure the clients walkdown is a snag free exercise.
• Deliver First of a kind process and sign off.
• Document Control of Construction Drawings, Schedules and Specifications.
• QA Owner of allocated Turnover scope to take from construction completion through handover.
• Partake in Quality Surveillance Programme.
• Compilation of turnover packs.

QA/QC Mechanical Inspector Requirements:

• Mechanical trade qualified or degree qualified
• 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical systems.
