Project Director
Salter Grange is recruiting on behalf of a growing main contractor for a Project Director to take full ownership of a major construction scheme.
This is a senior leadership role, ideal for someone with extensive experience delivering complex projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for leading the delivery of a major project from pre-construction through to completion
- Oversee and direct the full project team, including design, site operations, commercial, and planning functions
- Lead on project programming, ensuring that all phases of the build align with delivery targets and quality standards
- Serve as the key point of contact for the client and external stakeholders
- Drive commercial performance and ensure that cost control measures are in place
- Maintain high standards of safety, compliance, and environmental management across the site
- Contribute to strategic planning and act as a senior voice in business operations
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, with end-to-end responsibility for delivering large-scale construction projects
- Strong background in overseeing both design coordination and programme delivery
- Confident managing multidisciplinary teams and reporting at board or executive level
