About the Role A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking an accomplished Project Director to take the helm of major new build commercial schemes across the UK. This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives on complexity, scale, and delivering buildings that genuinely shape communities.The Project Director will oversee the full lifecycle of large-scale public sector projects, which may include:Modern prison facilitiesState of the art hospitalsEducation buildings such as schools and collegesOther high‐value public buildings and civic infrastructureKey Responsibilities Lead multi‐disciplinary project teams from pre‐construction through to handoverOversee operational delivery across several major schemesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partnersEnsure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standardsProvide strategic direction to project managers and site teamsDrive programme performance, risk management, and commercial outcomesAbout You Commercially astute with a track record of delivering complex projects successfullyFull UK driving licenceWillingness to travel nationwide as project locations varyWhat Next?
