A growing, forward thinking construction company is seeking a dynamic and motivated Quality Assurance Manager to support the implementation and day-to-day operation of its Quality Management System for all projects across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality governance, compliance, and continuous improvement within the built environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the rollout and application of the organisation’s Quality Policy and Quality Management System across assigned projects
- Guiding project teams in understanding and applying QA and QMS requirements
- Reviewing and supporting approval of Project Quality Management Plans, Contractor Quality Plans, and Inspection & Test Plans
- Conducting monthly QA audits, reporting findings clearly, and tracking close-out of actions and non-conformances
- Monitoring completion of project-level and director-level QA reviews
- Escalating recurring issues or risks to senior leadership when required
- Delivering or supporting QMS training, toolbox talks, refresher sessions, and lessons-learned activities
- Supporting digital QA processes using Autodesk Construction Cloud and SharePoint
- Reviewing QA records and inspection sign-offs, providing guidance on improvements
- Promoting a positive quality culture and a “right first time” approach across all projects
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in quality assurance or quality control within the construction industry
- Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Building Regulations (High-Risk Buildings) (England) Regulations 2023, particularly in residential construction
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and QA processes
- Experience conducting internal QA audits or inspections
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confidence working on live construction sites
