Salter Grange is recruiting on behalf of a leading European engineering and construction contractor delivering major data centre and mission-critical projects across Europe. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Package Manager to take ownership of mechanical work packages from installation through to commissioning and handover on a flagship project.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical work packages, subcontractors and day-to-day site activities.
- Ensure Health & Safety, QA/QC and programme targets are achieved.
- Coordinate design, BIM, RFIs and technical queries with project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, labour, materials and subcontractor performance.
- Support commercial activities including variations, valuations and cost control.
- Manage testing, commissioning, snagging, O&M manuals and project handover.
- Produce regular progress, safety and commercial reports.
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience delivering mechanical packages with a recognised engineering or construction contractor.
- Experience on large-scale projects, ideally within data centres, mission-critical, pharmaceutical or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services, QA/QC and Health & Safety.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with BIM processes and project planning software (Primavera P6 preferred).
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
