Salter Grange is recruiting on behalf of a leading European engineering and construction contractor delivering major data centre and mission-critical projects across Germany. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a flagship data centre project and lead on-site electrical installation activities.
Key Requirements
- Qualified electrician or electrical engineering trade background.
- 5–10 years' experience supervising electrical installation teams and subcontractors on large-scale construction projects.
- Proven experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, industrial, or large commercial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and quality assurance procedures.
- Experience working on Design & Build projects.
- Good technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical building services.
- Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams in a fast-paced site environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day electrical installation activities on site.
- Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, labour resources, and productivity against programme milestones.
- Attend coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates to the project management team.
- Manage snagging, punch lists, as-built (redline) drawings, and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) documentation.
- Coordinate material deliveries, plant, and labour requirements.
- Support package management, including variations, cost awareness, and commercial reporting.
- Provide technical guidance to installation teams and promote a 'Right First Time' culture.
