Salter Grange is partnering with a leading UK main contractor to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager for the delivery of a landmark c.£250m residential-led development in South West London. This flagship scheme will deliver approximately 300 high-quality residential units alongside commercial space across multiple residential blocks. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a prestigious project from construction through to completion, working with an experienced delivery team on a technically challenging and high-profile scheme.

The Role

  • As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Leading the project team throughout the construction phase
    • Managing programme, cost, quality and risk
    • Building strong relationships with the client, consultants and subcontractors
    • Driving health, safety and environmental performance
    • Leading design coordination and resolving technical challenges
    • Overseeing commercial and contractual matters alongside the commercial team
    • Managing project reporting and stakeholder communication
    • Mentoring and developing the wider project team

About You

  • We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Project Manager who has a proven track record of delivering major residential or mixed-use projects.
  • You’ll have:
    • Extensive experience working as a Senior Project Manager for a leading UK main contractor
    • A strong track record delivering projects valued at £60m+
    • Experience delivering high-rise residential or mixed-use developments
    • Excellent leadership and client-facing skills
    • Strong commercial awareness
    • The ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams
    • An engineering background would be a distinct advantage
    • Degree qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
