Salter Grange is currently working with a fast-growing, innovative business with an ever-expanding client base that is looking to add to its team a Site Engineer coming from a Civils / Structural background to join them on high-profile projects in Europe that will include Substation Development, Data Centres and Battery storage facilities. The successful Site Engineer will join a specialist company in Groundworks, RC Frames, and Structural Alterations, operating across Europe. This Specialist Contractor has a proven track record of successfully delivering numerous Data Centre projects and has a full order book for the next two years. Please note that you would be employed under the host country employment law. On offer is a Competitive Salary + Accommodation + Travel and shared car.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site.
- Providing technical guidance on-site for subcontractors and operatives.
- Utilizing site plans, drawings, and building information models.
- Supervising construction work and ensuring quality standards.
- Verifying the accuracy of plans, drawings, and quantities for calculations.
- Overseeing site security, health, and safety.
- Organizing and managing materials and human resources.
- Handling design documents provided by the client.
- Reporting progress and updates to clients.
- Efficiently planning work and addressing setbacks or difficulties.
- Ensuring compliance with company health and safety procedures.
Site Engineer Requirements:
- Degree or HNC/HND in a construction-related or engineering discipline (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a construction or engineering environment.
- Technical knowledge of construction processes and high attention to detail.
