Salter Grange is representing a premier, first-generation construction firm specializing in Critical Environments—from massive Data Centres and Life Sciences labs to Aviation and High-Value Manufacturing across the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe. We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join a high-performing project team in London. If you want to work on blue-chip projects where "good enough" isn’t an option, this is where you belong.

QA/QC Engineer responsibilities:

  • Own the QA/QC lifecycle—certificates, calibrations, test results, NCRs, and site observations.
  • Develop and oversee inspection and testing methods to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Review on-site materials and collaborate with Procurement to ensure everything arriving at the site is top tier.
  • Lead quality audits, supervise test schedules, and mentor the wider team on quality standards.
  • Partner with H&S to ensure method statements, risk assessments, and environmental analyses are ironclad.
  • Act as the bridge between the Project Team and the Client for audits, inspections, and material submittals.

QA/QC Engineer requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years in construction/engineering (Critical Environment experience is a major plus).
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of building/quality regulations.
  • Excellent IT skills and a knack for organized data management.
  • You are a clear communicator who can work across different teams and handle the fast-paced nature of London’s top construction sites.
