\u003cpSalter Grange is recruiting on behalf of a leading Tier 1 engineering and construction contractor that specialises in delivering some of Europe\'s largest and most technically complex data centre projects.\u003c/p>\u003cpDue to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead to join a flagship hyperscale data centre project in the Netherlands. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a market-leading contractor offering long-term career progression across major projects throughout Europe.\u003c/p>\u003cpAs Mechanical Lead, you will take ownership of the mechanical package, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage programme delivery and oversee all mechanical site activities from installation through to handover.\u003c/p>\u003ch3>Mechanical Lead Responsibilities\u003c/h3>\u003cul>\u003cliLead the safe delivery of the mechanical package throughout the project lifecycle.\u003c/li>\u003cliManage mechanical quality assurance, inspections and documentation.\u003c/li>\u003cliCoordinate daily site operations and subcontractor activities.\u003c/li>\u003cliMonitor programme progress, labour and productivity.\u003c/li>\u003cliTrack project costs, variations and commercial performance alongside the commercial team.\u003c/li>\u003cliChair and attend site, planning and coordination meetings.\u003c/li>\u003cliManage project reporting, risk identification and progress updates.\u003c/li>\u003cliOversee commissioning, snagging, handover documentation and final project close-out.\u003c/li>\u003cliEnsure all health & safety and project documentation is maintained to the highest standard.\u003c/li>\u003c/ul>\u003ch3>Mechanical Lead Requirements\u003c/h3>\u003cul>\u003cliTrade background with a relevant engineering qualification.\u003c/li>\u003cliMinimum of 5 years\' experience delivering large mechanical construction projects.\u003c/li>\u003cliExperience leading mechanical packages on major construction projects.\u003c/li>\u003cliStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.\u003c/li>\u003cliExcellent organisational and communication skills.\u003c/li>\u003cliAbility to manage multiple stakeholders within a fast-paced project environment.\u003c/li>\u003cliExperience within the data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial or other mission-critical sectors would be highly advantageous.\u003c/li>\u003c/ul>\u003cpIf you\'re an experienced Mechanical Lead looking to join one of Europe\'s most respected engineering contractors on cutting-edge data centre projects, we\'d love to hear from you.\u003c/p>\u003cpApply today or contact Julia Ciutacu at Salter Grange for a confidential discussion\u003c/p>Mechanical Lead | Data Centre Projects | Netherlands employer: Salter Grange Limited
