Salter Grange is recruiting an experienced BIM Lead for a major data centre project in Finland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven BIM Lead to take ownership of BIM coordination and delivery on a large-scale, technically complex project.

You will lead the BIM team while working closely with design, engineering, construction and client teams to ensure coordinated models and drawings are delivered on programme.

  • BIM Lead Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the BIM team, allocating workloads and supporting team development.
  • Establish and manage BIM workflows, standards and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary 3D models, ensuring effective integration into the federated model.
  • Lead clash detection, design coordination and resolution of technical issues.
  • Produce and review construction models, coordinated layouts, GA drawings, details and fabrication isometrics.
  • Work closely with design teams, subcontractors, consultants and the client to resolve coordination issues.
  • Manage drawing schedules, registers and BIM deliverables against project deadlines.
  • Support construction teams with model interpretation, field verification and installation coordination.
  • Ensure BIM, CAD and project standards are consistently followed.
  • Provide regular BIM progress reports, highlighting risks, constraints and delivery status.
  • Drive BIM improvements, innovation and efficiencies across the project.
  • Mentor and support junior BIM personnel.
  • BIM Lead Key Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a BIM Lead or similar senior BIM position.
  • Proven experience leading BIM delivery on large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong experience with 3D modelling, BIM coordination and clash detection.
  • Experience working across multidisciplinary MEP/structural environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, BIM workflows and federated models.
  • Experience with Revit, Auto CAD and BIM coordination software.
  • Previous data centre or mission-critical experience is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple project priorities.
