On behalf of a market-leading specialist electrical contractor, Salter Grange is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Electrical Estimator to join a rapidly growing team based out of Derry. Our client is a premier contractor specializing in medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) cable installation, termination services, busbar, and containment solutions. Headquartered in Ireland, they deliver mission-critical projects for a diverse range of customers across Europe and beyond, spanning high-growth sectors such as data centres, pharmaceuticals, renewables, power generation, and critical infrastructure.
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you will take full responsibility for managing the estimating function. You will oversee the production of Electrical tenders for both pre‐designed and design & construct projects, ensuring the delivery of high‐quality, competitive submissions while fostering a professional, collaborative team environment.
Senior Electrical Estimator Responsibilities- Manage the estimating department, overseeing all new project enquiries from initial inception through to final submission.
- Set up estimates, tender packs, and applicable trackers to ensure consistency and accuracy across all bids.
- Lead communication with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and clients throughout the entire tender process.
- Review engineering drawings and prepare precise take-offs.
