Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced
Mechanical Technical Services Manager to join a high-performing team in London.
Reporting to the Data Centre MEP Lead, you will be responsible for the technical delivery and coordination of mechanical building services from design through commissioning and handover on major Data Centre projects.
- Technical Services Manager Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical design coordination, technical reviews and interface management.
- Drive BIM coordination and resolve technical and design challenges across mechanical systems.
- Manage mechanical subcontractor performance, ensuring quality, programme and technical compliance.
- Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning and handover of mechanical services.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications, safety standards and Data Centre requirements.
- Work closely with design teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders to ensure successful technical delivery.
- Support the wider Technical Services team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Services Manager Requirements
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- Proven experience delivering mechanical building services within MEP construction.
- Experience working on Data Centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial or similarly complex projects is highly desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, coordination and commissioning.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple interfaces.
