Salter Grange is currently partnering with a leading international engineering contractor to recruit two experienced Senior Planners for major hyperscale data centre projects in Spain. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation with a strong pipeline of mission-critical projects across Europe, offering long-term career progression and exposure to some of the industry's most complex and technically challenging developments.
Senior Planner Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and manage detailed project programmes from pre-construction through to commissioning.
- Monitor project progress and performance against programme milestones.
- Identify programme risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with project management, commercial and site teams to ensure programme alignment.
- Produce regular planning reports and progress updates for senior stakeholders.
- Support project controls and reporting requirements across multiple work packages.
- Lead planning meetings and contribute to strategic project delivery decisions.
Senior Planner Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Planner within construction, engineering or mission-critical environments.
- Strong background in data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, semiconductor, life sciences or large-scale commercial projects.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.
- Excellent understanding of project controls, scheduling and programme management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work within a fast-paced project environment.
