Brick Slip Facade Manager - Freelance
We are currently looking for an experienced Brick Slip Specialist / Brick Slip Manager to join a long-term freelance opportunity working across major residential and student accommodation projects in London. The role will initially be based on a project in East London, before moving to a large-scale student accommodation development in Central London within the next couple of months.
The Role: You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating brick slip and façade installation works, ensuring high standards of quality, workmanship, programme and safety are maintained throughout the project.
- Brick slips / brick slip systems
- Brick façade installation and finishing
- External envelope / building envelope
- Façade systems and façade packages
- Rainscreen and cladding interfaces
- External wall systems
- Traditional and lightweight brick façade systems
- Setting out, sequencing and installation of brick slip systems
- Quality control, snagging and inspections
- Coordinating subcontractors and specialist façade teams
- Reading drawings, specifications and façade details
- Managing interfaces between brickwork, cladding, windows and other façade elements
- Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and wider construction teams
About You:
The ideal candidate will have proven site-based experience as a Brick Slip Manager, Brick Slip Supervisor, Brickwork Manager, Façade Manager, Façade Supervisor, External Envelope Manager, Cladding Manager or brickwork Supervisor.
Crucially, you must have hands-on project experience specifically involving brick slip systems.
Experience across residential, high-rise, student accommodation, commercial or large-scale façade projects would be highly advantageous.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone looking for consistent freelance work, with the initial East London project transitioning into a major Central London student accommodation scheme.
