Salter Grange is recruiting on behalf of a leading European engineering and construction contractor delivering major data centre and mission-critical projects. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee site delivery on a flagship project in Zurich.

Electrical Construction Manager Requirements:

  • Trade background and/or relevant third-level qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Construction Manager on large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of the full design and construction process.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage subcontractors and drive programme delivery.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Electrical Construction Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, safety, quality and programme performance.
  • Coordinate project teams, subcontractors and discipline leads to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor labour, materials, plant, variations and project costs.
  • Chair regular subcontractor and progress meetings.
  • Oversee QA documentation, safety files, snagging and project close-out activities.
  • Drive commercial awareness, change management and weekly reporting.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.
